Register to access AI-related repositories and resources through our GitHub organization.
About the AI credits
Aside from the standard GitHub Education plan, which typically includes around 200 AI model credits, students who access AI tools through the college organization are provided with up to 3,000 AI credits to support their coursework, projects, and research.
After the EMIS Unit reviews your request, a GitHub invitation will be sent to your college email (@tcioe.edu.np). Make sure you have a GitHub account registered with that email.

Getting started with AI in VS Code
After you accept the GitHub invitation, follow these steps to start using AI in your editor.
- Install Visual Studio Code from code.visualstudio.com .
- Install the GitHub Copilot and Copilot Chat extensions from the VS Code Marketplace .
- Sign in to the extension using the same GitHub account that accepted the organization invitation.
- Use inline suggestions while you type, and open Copilot Chat to ask questions or explain code.
- Read the official documentation at docs.github.com/en/copilot .
Usage rules
These rules keep access fair and secure for everyone.
- Do not share your account, password, or GitHub credentials with anyone.
- The access and AI credits are tied to your college identity. They are for your personal academic use only.
- Do not resell, transfer, or lend your access to others.
- Always review AI generated code before you use it. You are responsible for what you submit.
- Follow the college code of conduct and academic integrity rules when using AI tools.
- Report any misuse, suspicious activity, or account problems to the EMIS Unit.
